Description:
Tonalli (Favor) is being auto-collected only when the drops expire on the battlefield, rather than immediately after a fight or requiring manual collection, which appears to be an undocumented and unintended behavior. Furthermore, there are major inconsistencies in auto-collection times and Warrior Priest interactions depending on the chosen Major God.
Specifically, Quetzalcoatl auto-collects Tonalli a few seconds after the enemy’s defeat (yielding 2 favor in testing), while Huitzilopochtli takes nearly a minute to auto-collect (yielding 7 favor). Additionally, introducing a Warrior Priest to manually collect the Tonalli works as intended for Quetzalcoatl (boosting the yield to 7 favor) but fails to provide any boost or effect for Huitzilopochtli (remaining at 7 favor).
Trigger Event:
Defeating enemy units and generating Tonalli drops on the battlefield. The issue initiates the moment the combat ends and the Tonalli sits on the ground waiting to expire.
Repro Steps:
1. Start a skirmish or test map as the Aztecs. (You will need to test this once as Huitzilopochtli and once as Quetzalcoatl).
2. Set your starting Favor to exactly 10.
3. Spawn 10 Shorn Ones for yourself and 10 Hoplites for the enemy.
4. Engage and defeat the 10 Hoplites.
5. Observe Auto-Collection: Watch your Favor count. Notice it remains at 10 immediately after the fight. Wait for the Tonalli to expire. Note that Quetzalcoatl auto-collects 2 favor after a few seconds, while Huitzilopochtli auto-collects 7 favor after nearly a minute.
6. Observe Warrior Priest Interaction: Restart the exact same scenario (10 Shorn Ones vs 10 Hoplites, starting at 10 Favor), but this time place 1 Warrior Priest nearby to collect the Tonalli.
7. Note that the Warrior Priest successfully boosts Quetzalcoatl’s yield to 7 favor, but does absolutely nothing for Huitzilopochtli (whose yield remains bugged at 7).
Frequency: Consistently Reproducible
