Tooltip help is disappearing automatically (it shouldn't)

  • Platform: Steam

  • Operating System: Windows 10

Issue:

  • Sometimes I need more time to read complicated techs, however tooltips disappear after ~ 8s.

  • This was already happening before latest 18.7603 patch, but wasn’t happening even before that, tooltips were always rock solid standing there, if you didn’t move your mouse, it shouldn’t disappear at all (that was always the default behavior)

  • Note: this isn’t happening in tech tree, but apart from that pretty much everywhere.

Trigger Event:

Hover over building/unit/technology icon and tooltip appears, then wait a bit, it disappears automatically (which it shouldn’t)

Repro Steps:

  1. Start a game
  2. Hover with mouse over something in build menu or unit or whatever
  3. Observe
