 DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.

I noticed that, recently, if you take moving trebuchets and right click on something for them to attack (enemy unit, building, deer) while they are still moving - meaning they start to unpack, and then click away from the treb as if moving again. they get trapped in the unpacking animation, and you cannot halt it - the hotkey, the button even disappears from the menu.

If you take trebuchets that are standing still, and do the same, the button does not disappear - and you can cancel the unpacking.

When the trebuchet then finishes unpacking, the button to pack appears. If you click it, similarly you will not be able to cancel this. Once the trebuchet is fully packed, you can then move it around again - but every time you right click somewhere, the queue flag appears where normally it would just be the four red arrows - leading me to believe that this has something to do with command queueing. If you then press G (halt), everything goes back to normal.

What makes this frustrating is that when trebuchets are manoeuvred close to hectic action, or random deer, and you accidentally click any deer or enemy unit while spam clicking movement, the treb gets stuck in the animation, and you cannot save them if they come under attack - which is very frustrating, as you can imagine.

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

 List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. select a packed trebuchet
  2. command it to move somewhere
  3. while it is moving, right click an enemy unit/building or a deer, causing the treb to unpack
  4. now click away from the treb as if moving it somewhere else.
  5. the trebuchet should now be locked in the unpacking animation, and the halt button disappeared
  6. once the trebuchet is unpacked, pack it, and the halt button similarly is not there
  7. once the trebuchet is packed once more, right-click to move it around, and the queue flag will appear
  8. hit G / halt to reset the process.

 What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?

Well, unless this is somehow programmed that way, one would expect to be able to cancel the unpacking/packing process at any time - especially if it was accidental, like right-clicking a deer. Just like you can when the trebuchet are unpacked while motionless.
