Triggers Area: Convert & Area: Change Type don't work for defeated players

Issue:

I spent about hour troubleshooting this for my previously functioning map.

Ever since last patch, Area Convert and Area: Change type don’t include defeated/resigned players units or buildings

Repro Steps:

  1. Create a trigger with Condition “Player: Is Defeated or Resigned”
  2. Add Effect “Area: Convert Units” or “Area: Change Type” to the defeated player
  3. Add effect that is easily detectable such as “Unit: Set Scale” or “Chat: Send Chat”.
  4. Set player defeated
  5. The step 3 effect triggers but not the one from step 2.
