Can’t wait to see what the bottom panel looks like.
Here’s hoping that it will still have ancient artwork like the old one did

Is a shame.looks like AoE3 interface style.

Have you played AoE III? No idea what you’re talking about.

Not only play, I now about textures and design.
Im not saying it’s the same, but have similar texture.
If you have a doubt ask me we can compare both. Icons are new. Interface composition is clean as they said in past, try perfect GUI for the series.

I can see the UI elements look like a picture frame, similar to AoE III. The AoE:DE UI as shown is much cleaner than AoE III. The AoE III UI is fixed and notoriously huge, even with the compact option.

But probably this are Asian texture, that’s only similar in materials, they used iron and wood.

We need if they give a texture style each groups of cultures.

It doesn’t really strike me as very similar to AoE3.

They should have a different style per the different set of buildings. Just like the original. I think they will

0 A.D uses tooltip to show this information.

And it doesnt help much, in the pace of the game.
I’ve been telling them to make it static in view. There are lot of other UI features missing in 0AD. whenever the game is finished I’m sure the villager per resource display wont be on tooltip only.

The UI is so cute! It reminds me a little of some other franchise games (like the AOEO) and this is invigorating.

No new units spotted as of yet.

The Devs have stated that there will not be any new units.

I mean units we haven’t seen yet, such as chariot archers. I know there won’t be any “new” units ;p
