Umibozu's game breaking bug is ruining the experience for everyone

Issue:

Umibozu special ability, in theory only usable fro water to water, is actually usable to teleport from anywhere to anywhere, and is game breaking. The thing that should stop you from using it outside of water is circumvented very easily once you know it’s possible to do so. This has been a known bug but tolerated for a long time since only a few trolls used it, but as time passed more and more people know about it. Nowadays, ranked tgs and custom games are filled with people bugabusing umibozu in order to make the game unplayable for the opponents. Splash on army, all dead, splash on gold mine, no more vills, etc.

Trigger Event:

Repro Steps:

  1. go mythic, build docks (can be done even in land maps as ponds are in almost every map)
  2. build 4 docks in a pond, spam umibozu
    3. take a group of them and shift click the ability anywhere you have vision and the enemy is present
    4. enjoy seeing the opponent instantly forfeit and go uninstall aom and proceed to play another rts

This is a game breaking bug. Has been ruining my fun since japan release, and it only gets worse with time as more and more people find out what’s possible.

We need the ability at least disabled if there is no way to fix it. Ranked is filled with people trolling and ruining the fun for everyone.

Also the fact that this bug stayed in game for so long is actually really dissapointing!

There are already 2 posts for this bug but this is a serious issue and needs all the visibility it can get.
