"Unable to pack mod files" when trying to update/upload mod ingame

Issue:

Since yesterday (21.10.2025) evening, I’m unable to update or upload any mods ingame of AoMR. The days before and also yesterday afternoon it worked fine like usual. But suddenly non of my mods can be updated/uploaded with the error message:Unable to pack mod files

Repro Steps:

Try uploading/updating a mod.

Since there was a new mod added today already from someone else, I assume it is not an issue for everyone.

This is happening to me too, i have the exact same issue, my game is the microsoft version.

Unfortunately, I got the same error today after trying to add a text to my already added mods. After a few successful changes it stopped allowing me to update any more and now all the rest give me the same error. I am on steam. :frowning:

I tried everything, installed and deleted everything from scratch, reinstaled windowns, deleted all mods and aomr files including steam and instaled and made new ones, gave permision to all files and apps made everything turn on as administrator and nothing worked. There is nothing I can do about it, I hope devs will fix this stupid bug soon :frowning:
