Unable to search/find mod to subscribe

  • GAME BUILD #: latest after nov 17th (but problem existed last patch as well)
  • GAME PLATFORM: Steam / Microsoft Store, tried players with BOTH
  • OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 10

in game search via mod manager unable to find mods

  • 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)

:point_down: List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. start game
  2. go to mod manager
  3. search for “MBA v1 language DE” by typing MBA, or MBA v1, or v1 Language etc, nothing comes up.

be able to find the mod with those search term and subscribe to them.

I just pushed an update to the search logic that should fix this. If you search for something like “mba” only you’ll get a lot of results, but your mods will be included. It just ends up matching things like “combat” in other mods. Adding a space "mba " narrows it down, as does adding something else like the v1 or language part of the name.

Why don’t you give AoE1 bug reports the same treatment but instead just ignore them till people give up on reporting bugs?
