Unique hero icons for AI leaders?

Hi Guys,

Another suggestion from me. Is it possible to have the unique hero icons display during RM matches against the AI when the AI leader is the same person as one of the hero units found throughout the campaigns?

I’ve gone through all the civilizations’ lists of AI leaders and the following names have unique hero units:

Do you mean replacing the civ shield icon next to the score ? I disagree, the main function of that icon is to see at a first glance who you’re facing. In beta versions of the DE the icon of the unique unit was used, for a question of visibility it was changed to the civ shield icon.

The shield icons are designed to remain easily identified even at a low resolution, that’s why they sometimes detour from historical accuracy. For example the Bohemian icon has a black and red background instead of a red background, which might have made it too similar to the Briton and Polish shields.

No thank you. The rullers name will soffice. It would be great if they added more rullers names to the pool and expand the contents and amout of messages sent by AI rullers, but I really don’t need to see the face of the enemy/allied AI.

I just mean for the icon next to the player name which currently has the UU (not the civ shield).

I kinda like the OP’s suggestion but Duke’s post makes sense too… On a side note they really should make hero portraits an option for player profile icons.
