Unique UNit Concept for a new civ like Nubians. Foot archer with an attack bonus against other unique units.
For centuries, Arab neighbors across the sea and neighbors from the north invaded Nubian lands, and their attack against unique units is a reference to how their skilled archery and how they repelled against invaders.
Here are the stats:
Base HP: 50, 60 (Elite)
Base Attack: 6 (+5, +6 (Elite) attack bonus against all unique units)
Base Melee/Pierce: 0/1
Base Range: 5
Cost: 45 wood, 55 gold.
We already have an infantry with an attack against unique units, who is called Samurai, so why not we have an archer unit acting as a ranged Samurai?

This is totally broken. Archer units cannot get such large attack bonuses because of how fast they stack. This is also far too cheap, and has too much range.
You should check the stats for cavalry archers and build on top of that. LINK
The cost should be at least 55 gold. Range should be 4. Attack bonus should be +4, +6(elite). That is way more balanced.
EDIT: Clarification. Is this a cav archer, or a foot archer?

Well, it doesn’t seem so different from the Genoese Crossbowman. Just 1 more range. If this unit only has a bonus vs unique units, it’s not so bad i think.

I was thinking that this is a cav archer, mainly because of the high HP. But even as a foot archer, this is broken.
It’s not just 1 more range, it’s a lot more HP. Specifically, this archer cannot be one-shot by mangonels, which is a problem.
An archer UU needs to be weak in at least one of 4 areas. Range, attack, cost, and HP. Most are weak in 2. This archer is strong with all 4.
It could be a slow archer.
The Mayans Plumed Archer has 50/65 HP and 4/5 range. It is more expensive though.
@PCDragon3979 we need more info, is this a foot archer or cav archer?
Samurai are an infantry unit so they have is plenty of counter play. Mangudai, Camel archer, Kipchak, and Plumes counter them. Most ranged UU units can have a favorable matchup depending on number and micro. Calvary can play around them with their speed and Cataphracts and to a much lesser extent Boyars can win in head to heads engagements. Infantry usually get hard countered but even Teutonic knights and jaguars can win some fights.
Kushite Archer crush all UU I don’t think even Huskarls or Rattans could stand up to them.

The unit is a foot archer.
Make them like Plumed Archer that they have only 4 or 5 attack against normal unit
