they have fur trade, making their eco better than you think.

fur trade is not a luxury its a basic need for India , without fur trade Indian eco is trash in treaty , even with fur trade , wood is always problem in treaty for India

they have an infinite 1300 wood shipment to send, its not that bad.

People get too intimidated by 1300 wood shipment, but India have it coz, they consume alot of it ! also its a dilemma to call 1300w or 9 urumis(the only decent anti heavy infantry / alternative falconet) 1300w shipment dont do the work as much , as people assume.

less eco cards, Less pop for army , overpopulated elephants, no canons , shortest ranged mortar/culv, slow unit creation time, scarce wood in late game, is the reality of Indian Treaty game.

you got gurkhas, you dont need urumis.

and how about the other wood heavy factions like hauds? they dont even have a trickle.

India can get to 2500 score, thats better than a lot of european factions.

just to inform , Gurkhas are the weakest skirm in the game out of all normal skirms (excluding strelets etc)

They too have problems with wood, although they have mortars and canons ATLEAST .

Anyways, India treaty needs are a topic in itself.

But agra fort surely can use some modification specially after age2

this is flokos india deck, hes pretty good at the faction, and he doesnt waste time on the urumis.

no they aren’t, are they amazing? no but they are still a skirmisher. and has practically the same stats as normal skirmishers, their only negative is that india has relatively few upgrades but 15% buffs still leaves them better than german skirmishers.

Well , Im not Floko, and he seems to use natives, at the cost of, all the coin cards for India
i.e. Rum Distillary and Royal Mint, good for him.

But anyways, Urumis are easily the best of units, that India have.
as for gurkha, just use them against mass dopel samurai etc, ull know

They cant beat mass infantry cause they havent canons and mahouts arent worth it. Also they have a poor coin eco while they have the most expensive units. Fur trade can save you for few minutes.
About wood, its not a problem in the lategame but it is in the beggining of the treaty.

you have consulate for cannons.

You cant use export effectively and its gathered toooooo slow. You will run out quickly and treaty games arent short.

a good india player makes the game short, the amount of units you can throw in will make sure of that.

clearly you haven’t seen floko play.

It is that if you see it that way clearly it is a weak unit compared to others, But if you play blind knowing that you already have a decent musketeer, besides that it is weak because it is age 2, it does not have to be statistically strong in second because You already abuse the range, equally later its lack of damage is compensated with the increase in range that improves as you improve it

this was not focused on age 2 , it was more focusd on team and treaty games, also the default range of gurkha is less than a skirm, and even after all the imperial upgrades 1 more range and less Hp and damage is of no use in late game.
