Spicy Expedition Challenges EZ Unlock Scenario is here!
This Mod is intended to make it extremely easy to pass the Event Challenges.
Disclaimer: If you find that this takes the fun out of everything, this Mod is not for you.
For each event, open a skirmish vs one AI, Infinite resources, All Visible, pop limit 500 pick the appropriate Civ, and the starting Age required(if any).
After each challenge is completed, resign from game, and load it again when the next challenge becomes available.
Research Wheelbarrow before 13 minutes (Start in the Feudal age, Or pick Burgundians in Dark Age)
Gather 5000 food (Pick Mongols or Franks)
Build 3 Towncenters in 1 match (Pick Spanish)
Train 30 trade carts/cogs in 1 match (Start in Feudal +)
Train 50 Unique units with 3 colors in the icon (Not sure of which civs, but I’d try Mongols, Britons and Spanish)
I appreciate this info, thank you. I just played a normal AI game, it was pretty fun to do the mod so far. I went through the ‘lets go’ link provided in 30 challenge. Without changing anything I started in Feudal, no cheats, and I played randomly as the Japanese (maybe i should go back and choose bohemians from The Conqueror’s suggestion?). It was not a Death Match or any other win-con. An hour and a half and 33 trade carts later… I waited 24 hours from the last challenge and i’ve tried winning several ways to no avail. Do you have any suggestions? Wait another day and open the same match and win that game again or win with certain specs. If i did something wrong i’ll go back and do better. Thanks in advance
I’m talking about adding extra content to the game, not just simple graphics and icons. Like placeable shops, etc. And saffron farms which can be placed alongside existing farms.
So i fixed my own problem and created a scenario where i could get through the ages fast and just bust out the trade cogs/carts to a successful end. I hope that helps anyone else.
They want the items given in the mod to be added as scenario editor objects. For example, instead of just having Farms and Rice Farms in the scenario editor, there would now also be Saffron Farms. Instead of giving it as a reskin mod, they want it as new content for the base game, not reliant on a mod.
No, there’s actually two different things. The original mod, created by @DMgCrowley is intended as a way of simplifying the process of cheesing the quests, by providing a single scenario, configured to quickly and efficiently accomplish each mission.
I think you originally had replied to the OP, but then got caught up in the thing about making these items scenario editor objects, resulting in the confusion.
