Unsafe gold maps

I played a game this morning where my gold spawn 9+ tiles away from my tc; denoted by my tc range aura not even touching the back side of where my pit mine would go. Meanwhile my opponent gold was cut in half by the TC 8 tile range???

I thought they said they fixed this???

Maybe there’s a margin of error or this can happen only on certain maps… So far my spawns have been pretty consistent.
