Upcoming Monaspa nerf, enough or no?

Why no one is talking about Early game eco?

Early eco is busted too, but people sleep on how absurd their boom in that conditions can be, there isn’t any drawback for the Georgian player to add several Fortified Churches when the wood supply is enough to do that, not only you get safety for your vills, you vills also work 10% faster on EVERYTHING, while Poles have to suffer from raids on open maps, Georgians is exactly the opposite.

In cmpensation Monaspas weakest phase is in early castle age.
Which is currently the most important timing and the good meta civs are almost all very good at that stage.

Also: The churches are a bit overrated. It’s not really worth making more than you want to place anyways for monk production in early castle age. It’s more a lategame eco boost practically. It’s good, but i’ve seen a lot of investments into fortified churches way too early which actually hurt the georgian player. The res would have been better invested in military.
And even in Boom situations it’s most of the time better to first get the vills out and then the castle age eco upgrades than the other way around. The way you end with a better eco even if you may lose some res in the beginning. it’s expensive to add extra TCs at later stages to catch up with the vill count.

The Georgians are now one of my favorite civilizations. That’s why I think the nerf is a shame, although I don’t play the game from a competitive perspective anyway.
What I generally find a shame is that the Svanetian Tower’s are just eye candy objects. Personally, I would like to make this selectable as a real building, at least in the scenario editor. In fact, it even makes sense to incorporate the Swan Towers as a unique building for Georgians. They could replace the fortified church.
I would implement it as a defensible house. The towers give 5 population but are not affected by tower upgrades. They also have less HP, but are cheaper. If it is still problematic in terms of balance, you could also consider that only one Swan Tower can be built per area of, for example, 10 tiles.
Since I don’t play random or competitive games, but only self-designed scenarios for the respective Civs, I can’t assess this. Personally, it would be enough for me if you could select it as a normal building and adapt it accordingly in the editor.

Aside from the basic question in this thread, what would you think of it?

Then nerf it. Mid game eco is not that significant once early game eco is out of the window. We can see that fro their previous performance.
