The game ran perfectly for me for 14 months, including the day before Update 44725 reared its ugly head. The only thing that has changed on my machine is that Update, and immediately upon its installation the game crashes within 1-2 minutes of game play every single time (regardless of what civ I’m playing). This persists through hard/cold boots and with all firewall/virus protections turned off.
Imagine if Home Depot sold you a hammer that worked perfectly, and then 14 months later they entered your garage (without your consent) to “improve” the hammer for you and in so doing broke it so it’s completely unusable.
