Update Data Mods (is there a easy Way?)

Hello dear community

i created a data mod that modify the empires2_x2_p1.dat
now with every big game update this original file is changed to the new parameters of all civs.

is there a easy way to copy all changes i have done from the old empires2_x2_p1.dat into the new version ?
or do i have to add all parameters , technologies etc manual ?
