Issue: Command “Upgrade Wall foundation to Gate” lacks a remappable hotkey and defaults to grid keys.
Both palisade and stone walls have a command while under construction to convert them to a gate. This is a highly convenient hotkey for gate placement in 2 clicks ( select foundation→gate) rather than 4 (select villager→build menu→gate→place).
However, in current release, there does not appear to be a remappable hotkey for this command, and it only exists as a grid key.
Tested for both stone walls and palisade walls.
Trigger Event: Select a wall section under construction. Attempt to upgrade.
If grid keys are bound then it will default to those and give a hotkey as expected. If grid keys are unbound, there will be no hotkey present.
Repro Steps:
- Set grid keys as blank via right clicking them
- convert hotkeys to “fully remappable”
- attempt to bind command either via hotkey menu or direct edit of .rkp file.
(I searched all entries in the .rkp under “Stone”, “Palisade”, “Wall”, and “Gate” as well as the in game hotkeys)
