Should they acquire the light infantry tag(they currently do not)? given they are also a skirmisher type?
I don’t think so, they already lose to cav due to having all range resistance and a negative multiplier vs cavalry. They are countered most by artillery and lancer type units but even regular hussars deal with them ok.
I think he is talking about whether anti-skirm skirm should counter urumi. They dont affect how cavs do vs them.

I think that would be a bad idea since urumi aren’t traditional skirms.
Let them swing rifle instead of urumi.
Yes, it took me a while to realize that the urumi is a skirmisher because it doesn’t have the label it should
it’s probably one of the most special units in the game
in fact it was meant to be the main skirmisher unit and gurka were originally an auxiliary not the other way around as it is now.
you can tell if you’ve got classic AD by looking at the card progression, no Gurka cards only Urumi.
This would make more sense. Gurkhas are Nepalese, not Indian.
