User . cfg cannot be modified

I made an edit to this file but I couldn’t join any multiplayer games.

It would be nice to be able to edit certain portions of this file so one could skip the introcinematic and turn off the chat filter. I aimed to do these two things but sadly could not play online…

I expect this is some kind of anti-cheat protection and not a bug, hence why I am not reporting it as such.

Just put +NoIntroCinematics into the launch options on steam

Thanks. I had already sorted that out but my original intention was to get rid of the filter.
