Villager Auto Queue Is Over Rated

all it does is raise the skill floor slightly for the very bottom player brackets. someone who wasn’t reliably queuing villagers isn’t going to suddenly rise in the ranks because they no longer have to. it wasn’t a difficult skill to learn in the first place, its a sign of much deeper gameplay issues that needs practice to fix either way.

your 1000 elo player isn’t going to suddenly challenge a 1200 elo player because they no longer have to queue up villagers manually, and at higher ranks where presumably everyone has mastered villager production the change will have almost no impact. the higher you go the less this change will have an effect. at the very top level of play the ranking will stay the same whether it is enabled or not.

AQ was in The Titans, the only thing we want is for it to remain on the game. What is so hard about it? Its like removing a hotkey from aoe2 to DE and people outcrying the change to devs. We want the game at its core to remain like it was. Nothing more. If devs remove AQ, then they are making a change based on what they THINK is the best, but it’s not.

AQ has to remain. just like Myth units, god powers, Scenario Editor (looking at you at aoe 4) and etc.
