Villager can not go throw straight line

It’s not only about boars, but luring boar is most common example.

I send villager end expect it to walk throw straight line. Especially in case “there are no obstacles”. But often villager can not. Even when there are no obstacles.

Look the picture. Is it okay? For me it seems totally broken. All this was before new patch, but with new patch it became much worse.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Create new single player game.
  2. Build some houses around main tc (maybe it’s important).
  3. Lure the boar.

Villager travell throw straight line at least in cases when he can. In ideal world stupid villager uses shortest path.

Experiencing the same bug here.

I really wish this game’s units pathing is at least as decent as starcraft 1, which isn’t perfect by any means but still much better than what we have here. AI units constantly getting stuck is another problem too.

They just drunk for 20 char
