:arrow_forward: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

Villagers can build foundations through walls, i.e. when a wall separates the villager from the foundation.

:arrow_forward: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

  • 25% of the time / matches I play (SOMETIMES)

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Start building a foundation directly south of a palisade wall (so that the top of the building touches the horizontal, east-west wall).
  2. Leave the foundation partly built.
  3. With a villager who’s on the other side of the wall, resume building.
  4. The villager will take the shortest path to the foundation and build it from the other side of the wall.

:arrow_forward: EXPECTED RESULT

The villager should have to walk around the wall to build the building.

Hey
thanks for the report but this is a feature not a bug, hope you understand! Have a nice day!

So someone decided to change the behaviour at all grid margins?

Towers can be battered if walled in by 4 palisades, one on each side.
Relics can be picked up if walled in by 4 palisades, one on each side.
Units can be killed if walled in by 4 palisades, if the units stands as close to a corner as possible.
Buildings can be build through diagonal palisade walls by a single villager.
etc.

Idk know guys, the AoK behaviour of margins was more logical and had better gameplay imho
