The villagers ignore drop off commands. Please keep track of the food counter. I was spamming right click onto the mill. You can see the 2 more distant vils walk to the mill, but ignores it. The other vils would rise up but still no drop off.
Unsure if this was related to a deer carcass having been deleted by the mill earlier – presumably due to a deer being killed and the mill being built concurrently. (Note that there are only 6 deers left on the ground as a result.) Either way, this latter behavior may be as intended. But the inability to drop off meant I had to resign the game.
