Vils should gather wood, stone if they are attacking buildings, walls

I think it would make sense to recycle :grinning: resources from enemies’ buildings.
Also if we are deleting our own buildings, some material should be gained by that too. I am sure in the Medieval they were reusing a lot of things.

Imagine that on arena, vils are attacking the walls, then create a castle from the leftovers  .

I don’t agree with it being a standard game mechanic, but perhaps it can be a civ bonus in the future. It’s certainly an interesting idea.

I like the idea…

Maybe let’s extended to all stone buildings where you can harvest 70% of the stone.

I don’t know. In real life, destroyed stone wouldn’t be fashioned into new bricks. Tearing down a wall wouldn’t give builders the resources to erect a tower. Alhough not everything in the game has to be based in reality, so maybe.

Actually, buildings were cannibalized all the time to create new structures. One modern example of this was the Soviet Union tearing down Georgian stone towers in Ushguli to build other buildings.

hence I am mentioning villagers and not a demolished building by trebuchets. So they can ‘carefully’ remove the bricks and tear down a building - theoretically…

Tbh historically castles were rarely razed to the ground
