It’s that time for you to weigh in on the maps you want to see in the next 1v1 Ranked Map Pool! Here are FOUR of the SEVEN (total) maps that will be showing up in the next map pool update:

Why do not remove also Arabia from the fixed pool at this point? XD
Black forest, Arena, Fortress, Island for example
 sounds fun for some early game :rofl: :see_no_evil:

Atacama seems to be popular.
Understandably as it is one of the few tournament maps that made it to the game lately. I must say I also like it as more open alternative to Arabia. (Much more then Akropolis/Wolf Hill with their tiny woodpatches
 )

I ussualy ban Atacama from the ranked queue bc i dont like the fact that i have 2 go all the way to the middle to gather wood

Can we just get Nomad as a perma map in the pool. Like why do we need both Fortress AND Arena in same map pool, but we dont even get a single “real” nomad map. (Im looking at you African Clearing, don’t come here stealing my nomad spot from Normal/land nomad
)

Four lakes should be in the main map pool, its too popular.

Woodless maps are not even fun to play
other than towers and castles in the woodlines, there is no other meta in that map.

Random thought experiment: Say you let people pick between one and all options from four map lists: open maps, closed maps, hybrid maps (land-water) and water maps. Would the waiting time for a match go up a lot? I appreciate you guys trying to cater to everyone with a more varied map lists, but I fear that without additional ban options you’re just alienating the open maps crowd rather than drawing anyone else into ranked/"un"ranked.

(No I don’t know how to properly incorporate nomad starts into this, let alone megarandom.)
