Can’t we see the current amount of total votes anymore? I always thought it was interesting to know that and now I’m left curious as in-game doesn’t say!
I was really surprised as well when I saw that. I mean I like closed maps but michi, for real? 11 Also interesting too see (happens quite frequently iirc) that people tend to vote for closed maps in tgs but for open ones in 1v1. Not sure why that is.
Because the current meta on every single so called closed map is a tower fest or castle rush, michi is the only map where you can boom safely, it offers a new meta and different civs to be used, probably the best map for those bored of the same civs and meta in arena or vill rushes on bf.
Seriously, Michi on TG pool=Khmer fest (Every team will need at least one picking Khmer and FC ballista eles to cut trees and force outposts.
I just hope this map don’t get into the pool so many times.
That is a terrible strategy, going ballista and cutting the thick forest takes some time, so one player doing that is out from the game already and the other player making knights is also putting himself behind compared to a guy making 5 tcs behind, unlike small economies like arabia, on michi all the players booming have strong economies to sling or to make defensive structures, a push like that would only kill the team rushing with such poor economy behind.
Yeah, true but I think there is maybe a way to pull it off. Khmer player goes i castle few ballistas followed by number of light cav. One player goes castle drop (pref korean spanish), other goes full kts (lith ber franks) and another goes CA (mag, tatars, mongols huns). So basically an all in.
