I’m watching Ornlu’s video about the Persians rework, and it occurred to me that a War Elephant rush is now possible. Since they now get a +30 attack bonus vs buildings, and are faster, they are a viable option for Castle drops and rushes. Combine that with Parthian Tactics in the Castle Age, and pikes will simply die immediately.
Possible sure but if it fails you are down a lot of all your resources

A lot of rushes are risky like that. But that’s what makes them fun.
Monks are still a problem.
