ISSUE EXPERIENCED
DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.
In “The Return of the Dragon”, the Denasti camp and blocking force get (somewhat absurd) buffs in order to encourage the player to kill the Denasti general. This includes a +5000 HP bonus for the blocking force (except for a lone spearman), and a +40 attack for the watch towers that guard the camp.
When the Denasti general is killed, the blocking force loses its HP buff, but the watch towers remain absurdly strong.

REPRODUCTION STEPS
List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!
Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:
- Play the Vlad Dracula campaign Mission 2
- Play mission as normal until you reach the soldier’s warning about the blockade.
- Use Marco and Polo cheat codes to see how the units and towers of the Denasti Forces have altered statistics.
- Kill Denasti general
- Observe how the statistics of the Denasti units are returned to normal, but not the statistics of the towers.
EXPECTED RESULT
What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?
The watch towers would return to to normal status.
In general I feel like these buffs are too much. The blocking force and camp defences are already very strong, more then capable of annihilating Vlad’s initial force. These massive HP and attack buffs are only revealed upon close inspection of the stats, and can be extremely punishing if the player just stumbles into range of the watch towers (which is very easy if they take the obvious exit out of the starting area). Watch towers usually don’t take down cavaliers in 4 shots (45 damage per shot, with ballistics! It hurts!).
I’d personally recommend to remove the scripted buffs entirely and, if necessary, giving the Denasti Forces stronger units and defences. The current solution is prone to oversights all-round.
