We all know the game crashes all the time after the last update. Im only throwing this here so the noise might actually get listened to.
Devs say they’re “tracking it”. Ok, so they have replicated the issue. But it’s been OVER A WEEK since these crashes started happening. The game is unplayable.
How about some transparency as to what the issue is / was, and when it will be fixed.
I read on reddit somewhere that the tournament games are using old patch because of several issues.
I can understand increasing player base from xbox is a priority for them, but you are doing so at the cost of PC players your long term loyal fan base. this move is a disappointment, theres PUP implemented but no actual PUPatches released, it was just forced.
if hotfixes were to come out within a few days then that is still ok, but this will likely not get fixed until DLC patch comes out and MAYBE it’ll get addressed.
The only reason this game was even able to come out on xbox is because of the PC audience & customers. There seems to be a complete lack of care from the Devs for such a game-breaking issue.
At some point it’s time to go back to Steam and get a refund.
I doubt that “we all know it”.
I have two laptops and have the issue only on my new one. So many people probably don’t have any problems.
What is your CPU model? Do you use a GPU?
I had issues with another program last year, where the Intel Iris graphics caused performance/crash issues like that. Took the devs there a while to fix, too. I have an Intel i5-1135G7.
You can check this, by pressing the windows key and then searching for “system information”.
If it’s hardware-dependent, then the devs might just be scratching their heads, because they have no clue how to replicate it.
But anyway, I’d trust Intel graphics as far as I could… throw them?
Might be irrelevant, so I’ll dig up more details and try to remember, if more crashers have a similar Intel CPU. And no people with AMD systems have crashes.
There are an awful lot of reports of crashing on here, reddit and Discord. The devs have already replicated the issue. They did that over two weeks ago. There was supposed to be a fix last Wednesday, but it was delayed. No word on when it will be released.
The call for transparency is for devs to literally just go “yo, we know what the problem is, it’s this. We’re aiming to get a fix out by ____”. It’s that simple. Not just a “We’re tracking”. This call for transparency goes to all bugs, not just the crashing.
Whatever the problem is, it’s affecting a broad spectrum of users. I’m on an i9-12900K and RTX3090 TI.
