Weird farm bug

Game Version:

  • Build: 101.103.22566.0 (#153638) 19603495
  • Platform: Steam
  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • Gamertag: Janusz

Issue:

I encountered a weird bug, where my villager started attacking my own farm, using the animation for attacking trees. The attack triggered the “you’re under attack” siren. The farm was being damaged at 6 hp per hit.

Reproduction Steps:

I’m not sure how to reproduce the issue; it was feudal age, the farm was directly next to the TC, I think there was a tree there previously and I misclicked and there were outpost foundations there for a second.

ATTACHMENTS:

:check_mark: I have recording of the replay in CA (mp4), but can’t attach it (new user)
:check_mark: Link to savegame on aoe2insights: big dick energy, DAG THE WINNER, Revne vs Janusz, more, Zuckervisch 3v3 - ranked RM Team - Age of Empires 2 - AoE2 Insights
:check_mark: I can also provide directly my savegame if needed

Moved to the right forum (AoE 2 Bugs) as you posted in AoE 1.

This might be related to the farm steal bug. So stealing farms was blocked for a few patches and instead the villager would attack the farms in some situations. They allowed farms stealing back in the last patch, but there are still bugs, maybe now one new.
