What exactly is the punt's damage?

Issue:

The tooltip says the punt deals 250 hack damage. But when my mountain giant punted a war elephant, it dealt 375 damage. A war elephant reduces hack damage by 25%, so the punt seems to deal 500 hack damage. Is it intended? Or is it a bug? Why doesn’t the tooltip match the actual damage?

Trigger Event:

The punt’s tooltip damage doesn’t match the actual damage.

Repro Steps:

  1. Make a mountain giant.
  2. Research the Jotuns technology.
  3. Use the punt ability.
