What if the Armenians had Thumb Ring?

There has been some talk that the Armenians is rather weak in the late game. So, what if they had Thumb Ring? Composite Bowman’s fire rate would get faster, increasing their DPS. However, with such a buff, they might need some nerfs in other areas. Perhaps, Mule Carts are 20% more effective, rather than 40%. That would be a big hit to their economy.

Late game, the Armenians will have fully upgraded Composite Bowmen, Arbalesters, Skirmishers, and infantry. Even in castle age, Composite Bowmen will help them to be more aggressive if they can get Thumb Ring.

Are Composite Bowmen really that scary? I feel like because of their short range they are a little bit underwhelming anyway.

If I were to buff them I’d make them move faster to avoid mangonel or scorpion shots more easily. Something like 1.05 speed.

That will help them close the distance archers against other archers as well.

You just create another civ that just mass Arbalest, lack of Arbalest is to make Composite Bowman the ranged option to go in Imperial, also Composite Bowman is balanced by lacking it to not make them OP vs Cavalry.

Yes, and a huge nerf to Armenian Navy, espcially considering that they recently lost Shipwright. We have to make changes to Armenians while keeping their navy into account.

Why not remove arbalest in return for thumbring, improved elite upgrade for compbow?
