Pre-queuing on consoles (both Xbox and PS5). It’s a pretty significant disadvantage when playing against PC guys.
Since the game was released, the community has been asking for this. The dev team has simply ignored it until today. It must be really hard to add a line of code to disable the possibility of A SINGLE SPECIFIC BUILDING.
This would be an excellent addition to the game!
They should also add a notification when players leave the match so we don’t have to wonder if they’re still reading our messages or not. Something like “Player 1 has left the match.”
Bring back Sound Mod support.
Implode’s change in the last patch needs to be reverted. It was fine before and now it’s nearly useless.
When you’re playing a team game and your teammates resign (for whatever reason), you should get a slice of or all of their resources and units.
There’s been times where I’ve been stuck defending against two to three armies while all my partners military and resources are just sitting around.
In my suggestion, If they resign, they aren’t just leaving you out to dry but giving you tools to stand a chance still.
I would like to see the chinese included in AOTG, maybe with some blessings or world twists

Before adding anything new to make this game even greater I really think the AI needs some work.
When ever I play with bots they always seem to attack the player.
For example if I play a 4 way free for all I can guarantee 2 of the 3 bots will attack me and usually if not always at the same time. Kinda makes it impossible to play on legendary unless I give myself a huge handicap. But thats no fun.
I like a challenge but it is just ridiculous.
Would be so much better if the AI attacked their closest enemy or if the devs created more bot types so the bots would have different attacking styles.
Something like:
“Ambitious” bot style - would attack the closest player/bot with the highest score.
“Ruthless” bot syle - attack closest player/bot with the lowest score.
“Paranoid” bot style - would attack the first player/bot they discovered.
“Aggressive” bot style - would attack player/bot closest to them regardless of score.
“Defensive” bot style - wouldn’t attack but build great defenses that are actually difficult to raze.
“Prudent” bot style - they would attack the closest player/bot but only if and when they have a higher score than the enemy player/bot.
Just a few ideas of the top of my head but with some real thought and effort I believe this would make the game a much better experience
I would like to be able to build over single scattered trees. or at least be able to build over chopped scattered trees.
The Kuafu need to fight back whenever in been attacked.
AND PLEASE! GIVE A UNIQUE TITAN FOR ANY MAJOR GOD
On controller, when you select “all heroes” you’ll get vils too, meaning if you’re selecting to attack, you have to worry about the Atty or China Vils moving from their production to go fight. Find a fix for this please.
an option to turn wonders off
I don’t think this is a bug, just a byproduct of implementation; however, it would be a nice QoL update. As Kronos, when having multiple of the same buildings selected, you should be able to time shift them one after the other.
Current:
- Select all houses
- Use timeshift
- Time shift activates on a house
- Use time shift again
- Time shift attempts on the same house but fails (even if you reselect all houses)
Expected:
- Select all houses
- Use timeshift
- Time shift activates on a house
- Use time shift again
- Time shift moves to the next house that is not currently time shifting and attempts to shift it
I would like to see tracker for AoM achievements. For example, “Auto everything” where you have to train 10000 villagers - why can’t we see how many is left for the achievement? Especially because AoM EE had this by default. I know not many people care about this, but there are people playing who are completionists, so this would be a nice QoL for us achievement hunters.
New Game mode (ranked, custom): economic victory
Kind of like civilization, I think it could be interesting to introduce a game mode predominantly focused on an economic victory. The victory could be determined by who completes a wonder first.
This would obviously still include combat and map control as you’re trying to keep your opponent from completing a wonder before you. While you could try to go eco only to rush the wonder, it would be a risk! It would require one to be strategic in making the right amount of units because your opponent may try to cripple you entirely to reach a wonder first.
Basically it’s a game of macro.
It would be cool to introduce other game modes but I’m not sure what they could be, something more micro focused like scenarios but ranked/multiplayer. King of the hill, or something Kind of like operations in battlefield where you have to defend an objective otherwise you lose, etc. I think some of these types of modes come up in the celestial challenges.
Streams or behind the scenes of devs talking about how they look at data and reason through balancing. I think it could make the community chill a lot and be interesting to watch.
Hundun needs a unique animation for this void special attack. His current animation is his Attack A and it doesn’t fit or look good. Can I suggest his unused taunt animation? I’m assuming this is a left over from a scrapped special ability he had similar to rock giant, but the animation would work just as well for his void special.
Please add “Agamemnon” and “Hector” heroes in game. (Both for Singleplayer and Multiplayer (PvP))(Hector=Zeus) (Agamemnon=Poseidon or Hades maybe?)
We see Agamemnon in Campaign since childhood. But not in Singleplayer and Multiplayer? It’s weird. Also “Agamemnon is very important figure for Mythology.”
One more thing, give us some heros/units skins for community events. (Not just portraits please.) (Like in AoE II:DE)
