When the game is out, will you buy it directly

As a dawn of war 3 owner, I warn you, wait until many people have played the game, don’t listen to popular game site reviews ( microsfot have a lot of money to buy them) wait for stem reviews…

I feel similar, I’ll buy it to support the game though. I’m hopeful the civs I want to play will come in time with the DLC and when they finally do arrive the wait will be worth it given how they’re putting so much stock into customizing each civs’ look, sound and playstyle.

Hmm I don’t know.

Too few civs, will mean I might wait.

Of course if I get it as a gift that’s great.

Because you get it and game dev cycles are these days: Not a full game because these days it changes and varies - then the cycle of new civs…undecided for now.

I might as well get it at some point - though I really want to see more gameplay, more news, to really make a decision

But after all that…yeah no I’m gonna see what happens haha

Without a doubt, probably through Steam though because of ease of modding support. I would love to see how relic has made a traditional RTS because let’s be real- they make action oriented RTS generally.

I will buy it, thats for sure. But it depends on different things if it’ll be a day One buy or some time later.

I think Projectiles (like arrows) feel a bit odd. I get it, it somehow feels like the old AoE Versions. But I would nearly describe it here as a bit comical.

I dont dislike it, but while we get RL-Videos and improved graphics, oversized Arrows with rough trajectory are a bit underwhelming.

But overall I feel hyped for Age4. I like the Idea of mixing real live videos of locations together with story progression. I like the style and the animations. And finally Units on Walls  Cheers

Im so hyped. I never buy games on release, but this will be an exception

I’ll have it and play day 1 because of Game Pass.

And if it’s good I’ll buy it on Steam.

well yah, buying it day one

Buying day 5 if I like what I see on Twitch. I dont play single player, so it will all depend on multiplayer performance, balance and competitiveness.

I will buy if from Steam as it offers me to refund the game if I dont like in 2hours 59mins in 2 weeks. So I can test it if I like it or not. Also it gives me a right to post a review of my experience and to see what others felt too.

Apart from the art style that could be a lot better, I’m really looking forward to AoE4.

It seems to be an improvement over AoM with distinct units, techs and buildings for the different civilizations, and the landmark system which is similar to choosing gods in AoM.

So yes, I can see myself pre-ordering (depending on the incentives) or buying on release.

Yes I will. The DEs have been nice but it will be nice to have a NEW game in this series for the first time in almost 20 years

At the moment I’m honestly undecided. Like if I get to play the beta and it seems really fun, maybe? Otherwise, probably not on release day, I’d wait for a few reviews to come out and maybe watch some streams of people playing, see if it seems like it’s really the game for me. I’m assuming it will be a full price £50 or whatever game which for me is a lot of money. I don’t generally buy games new, I’m more of a “wait for the steam sale” kinda person generally speaking.

Yeah I’ll buy it directly just to see what it’s about. There are plenty of bad purchases on my Steam account (hundreds of them) so I doubt this will make a dent.

Yes  collector edition if possible

I will let others buy it first before I buy. And if the game gets more positive reviews, I will not hesitate to buy it :slightly_smiling_face:

No.
Only of there is a good mod to fix the graphics.

Then I’ll buy it on a discount.
