How about this radical idea: I’d except almost any civ as long as it’s well done.

Korea, Poland, Denmark, Persia, Siam, Maya, Morocco, etc…

  1. Safavids Persia since the Middle East is still lacking
  2. Tatars since they appeared in Russian Historical campaign
  3. Poland, since we need Siege of Vienna (1683) as Historical Campaign

Why do so many people here have the patience of a toddler? You all demand DLC at a faster clip than the series has ever seen.

AOE3 originally had 2 expansions, each separated by one year, and then didn’t have any expansions in 13 years. You didn’t die of lack of new civs then, and you won’t now.

Take a deep breath and calm down. In 3 years, we got 5 expansions (I’m counting DE as an expansion) adding 8 civs. That’s tons, more civs than in the 2 original expansions, and we all should be thankful that our niche game gets any support at all, let alone significant additions.

We know that much of the AOE3 dev support got pulled for AOMR development. Be patient. Once AOMR releases, we may get more civs. But even if we don’t, we all should simply be appreciative to the devs who continue to do bug patches and balance changes.

I don’t know which social website I was on, maybe Quora, but I remember seeing a comment there where someone explained that in their eyes “Adults are just bigger kids that have more needs than children” or something like that.

Maybe there is some truth to that for some adults.

When will the “cav can actually path to its indended target” patch be released?

Games is in an ok spot, but if we are in a long content delay period, some optimization would be great

We’ve been spoiled with updates that completely changed civs and models something aoe2, and 4 haven’t really had at all. Most of the team is probably hard at work making AOM retold and what few are still doing AOE3 at the moment are making the best they can till the team finish up with AOM.

It’s pathetic to talk about not adding more European civs when 3 global powers from Europe are missing: Danes, Poles and Prussians civs. Yes, there are still missing new Asian civs and more civs from South America and Africa (DE added European (Swedes civ) and American (Incas civ) civs at launch but forgot to add Asian civ - it could even be Koreans) but don’t ignore the European civs that are still missing in this game.

Lol how can you say Prussians are missing, when a dev (Tilanus) said they would never ever split the Germans.

Under what metrics has Poland ever been a global power?
