Personally, I think a better civ to represent the Gokturks would be the Khazars, who obviously aren’t in the game yet. But their khaganate was a successor of the Gokturk Khaganate.
This could be said about other civis too turks ottomans dravidians chola bohemians hussites etc.
I dont think its a huge issue but its always good to have better representations.
Well their UU the janissary is a quite obvious reference to the Ottomans, and in the Manzikurt campaign they represent the ancestor of the Ottomans the Seljuks. In no way do they represent the earlier turks like the Gokturks or the Khazars.
The most appropriate answer will be “It depends”. 11
For real though, it totally depends on which region devs want to add with Persians. More Iran (eastern Iran) or more Central Asia or Caucasia, or maybe even more China.
Swahili would be neat to have, no matter if it’s a Persian themed DLC or not.
Central Asia could need some love too. The arch set looks really nice. Shame that it isn’t used that much.
