There is some of the minor gods that I found weak, mostly because the other one offers a much better bonus and more usefull regardless of the situation.
Those I think who needs buff - Their bonus is too situational and pretty weak at that, makes them rarely picked
Heimdall (Loki & Odin). Heimdall got no use for Loki player since Forseti buff Hersir and the Trolls provide good ranged damage for Loki. Odin on the other hand can benefits from his Longboat tech, so together with Njord and Baldr makes Odin navy the strongest in the Norse faction, problem is Freyja offers greater synergy and more universal for Odin cavalry. His other tech is quite bad.
- Suggestion: Move the “Arctic Winds” tech from Heimdall to Freyja (many God Power combination that buff cavalry also buff naval unit by the way) and make Heimdall focus on the defensive capability. Add another tech that increase Throwing Axeman and Bogsveigir speed by 0.5 and range by 1.
Artemis (Poseidon & Hades). Totally eclipsed by Hephaestus Vault, can found use for Hades, lacking noticable synergy with other minor god, has a chance to be used in water map for Poseidon but still a weak bonus on water. Shaft of the plague give 20% extra damage for archer unit, sounds big but actually it increases Toxotes DPS by 1.3, Peltast by 0.6, and Gastraphetes by 2.8 which is also equal to Hephaestus tech. Poseidon benefits then only the Trireme crush armor tech. Chimera is a good tank with area damage for Hades.
- Suggestion: the “Trierarch” tech should include all type of ship, the “Shaft of the Plague” should also give the benefits to tower, fortress, TC, Arrow Ship, and give half the benefits to Centaur and Manticore. This will help more on the min-maxing stats on water map, and can buff Poseidon Centaur in his cavalry comp.
This part for those who could be better – I don’t know exactly what change is suited for them, since they got decent bonus, but other offers better.

Hera (Zeus). Same as Artemis, problem being Hephaestus Vault is too strong. Hera got decent myth unit and tech that will make spamming stronger Centaur/Minotaur with Zeus higher favor bonus. To be honest, I think it should be Vault that receive nerf from 180 each resource per minutes to 120 per minutes.

Aphrodite (Poseidon & Hades). Economy upgrades is always great, but Vault provides infinite free resource. Favor gather tech is equal to 0.015 favor per second per villager. Nemean Lion has potential to be the frontliner for Hades Archer, but they cost gold while Cyclops cost food on Hades archer heavy composition, besides Apollo offer healing and ranged damage bonus. Same for Poseidon whose Dionysus buff their cavalry, navy, and everything. Only “Divine Blood” makes player choose her, and also if they are a simp.

Hathor (Isis & Ra). I personally think that no Egyptian minor god is weak and all is very synergetic in nature. Cow girl gives Laser Croco boy and Locust to eat enemy farm, but it just the tech is kinda weak. Ra most of the time picks up Sekhmet for Chariot Archer range and siege tech. Isis is the only one with good reason to pick Hathor especially if taking Anubis for more favor to train Croco boy, but Isis most of the time going for Bast + Nepthyst for the Ancestors and Eclipse god power combo which also give her economy bonus for Thoth Elephant later. Could also give bonus for the Kopesh Swordman.
For Atlantean I found their minor god already synergetic with each other, you can go Prometheus-Hyperion for Heroes, Leto-Rheia for more archer+myth unit, and Oceanus-Theia for melee unit damage buff. Then the Mystic Age minor god can be taken depending which is needed, Helios for siege and navy, Hekate for myth unit, and Atlas for defense, especially on Gaia.
