Whoever did the Covert Art should have done all the God Portrait Art

The god portraits and cover art share many similarities. One is a rendition of the other. The cover art does a better job at depicting the gods, and the art style is also consistent. I literally think every single god and hero potrayed on the cover is better than the individual god portraits, expect maybe Set.

We need to investigate what came first? The cover art or the god portraits? Why didn’t the studio just have the cover artist also do the god portraits? Does the cover art look AI to you?

This whole controversy is perplexing.

I totally agree with you. Especially the ‘‘the art style is consistent’’ part. The whole AI controversy wouldn’t bother me so much if the portraits would look homogeneous in art style. Some faces look like real people, others look more like paintings, others like cartoons. Some of them even have different styles in itself like Ares’ new portrait. The cover art looks indeed way more consistent.
