Every team game has French or Jean D’arc. Every team game I get rushed by French Knights at 5min mark. Every game. It’s clockwork. This is not fun. I dont want to build spears. I am pigeonholed. I cannot NOT make spears. It’s impossible. EVERY GAME. Why? Is the lead Dev a French main? This is stupid and NOT fun. Not what AOE is supposed to be. There is ZERO alternative to this.
Just remove the French civ already FFS.

Why? A main draw of playing vanilla French are Knights. This also means that facing them, you have to expect Knights.
It’s like expecting English not to build Farms or something.
