I did the tutorial and messed around with some of the civs skirmish, then tried out the campaign. In the second mission, I was so used to building farms pressing Q then A and it made something else. Now it’s where the Mining camp usually is (Q then E) it’s actually kind of annoying.

Yeah it annoyed me, it goes back to normal by the third mission I think it is.
Yeah noticed that too… I think it’s because some buidling options are hidden in the first missions.
If I recall correctly, it used to do that in age2 as well when buildings were not available due to civ or campaign setup. It doesn’t make it less annoying but I can understand the struggle: is it better to have the shortcuts match what you see on the ui or the pattern you have in your head
