Why can’t they make a simple traditional DLC with actual medieval civs? Their best products (Dawn of the Dukes, Dynasties of India, etc.) are just that
Alternative why not make a cool separate singleplayer thing like Capture Age team did with C:BfG? People also loved that one, it’s the only DLC that has been basically universally loved since DoI

i am starting to believe that there won’t be any normal medieval DLC in the future, only these nonsense DLCs… I really dont understand their marketing decision to make weird shit 3 times in a row. they should release a normal DLC between them at least.
Their choices of civs are beyond comprehension.
No campaigns for Jurchens and Khitans and no Tibetans…What a flop of a DLC where Tibetans could’ve been added to the game after 25 years since The Conquerors having them planned (Also Khmer but thankfully RoTR happened), instead we get another RoR situation with an even worse Chinese split…The hell were the devs thinking???
