Why is nomad not a staple in the map pool?

I don’t understand the lack of frequency of nomad maps on 1v1s. You’re able to have plenty of bans to still achieve a desired game type.

This community votes in Black Forest and Amazon Tunnel for 1v1s. Pretty safe assumptions you can make from that for why Nomad isn’t a staple for 1v1s.

It usually gets voted in, it’s just not always in the list of options to vote for.

Nomad and MegaRandom have to be in the pool always, just like Arabia and Arena are

The number of maps in the pool needs to be increased to make more maps permanent. Then I would prefer Black Forest as third permanent map. But just 2 permanent maps is also fine. Nomad is not one of my favorites, there are other Nomad maps like Land Nomad and African Clearing that I like more, which should alternate with Nomad.
