Why is there no unit grouping?

In the original game when you had chosen group of units with lets just say 5 toxotes, 7 hoplites and something like that. I could just click the icon of hoplites and choose only hoplites in all these mess. I haven’t seen such feature in Closed Beta and Techincal Stress Test

It still works, but you need to SHIFT+click.
