Or even better… the entire franchise on GOG since there’s some kind of official partnership between Xbox and GOG and Xbox is even an official integration in Galaxy 2.0.

Hi @FloosWorld, Phil Spencer made an announcement back in May about more choice in where to buy Xbox Game Studios titles.
We know millions of PC gamers trust Steam as a great source to buy PC games and we’ve heard the feedback that PC gamers would like choice. We also know that there are other stores on PC, and we are working to enable more choice in which store you can find our Xbox Game Studios titles in the future.
Since that time there hasn’t been any news about Age of Empires: Definitive Edition specifically coming to GOG or any other stores besides the Microsoft Store and Steam, but it is possible the game will be available at other stores at some point.
Maybe there is no current deal between GoG and Microsoft at this point, is there any Microsoft game on GoG ?
AFAIK no Microsoft Games on GOG at the moment. However, Galaxy 2.0 lists Xbox Live as an “Official Integration” so there might be some kind of deal.

because microsoft only releases Windows10 exclusive games, and they can’t do that on GOG.
