Why TC META

I’d like if TC additional garrison arrow slits were an upgrade for TC!! So TC EVEN the non main TC should have a static arrow but then each have an uprade similar to textile (idle your villager que) in order to gain additional arrow slits with garrison units. THIS small change would favor ram and dark age aggression slightly.

I like that. It becomes a strategic option to go for the upgrade or not and scouting becomes more important.

Not totally true, gold and stone are enough exposed, also trees once you reach the 3rd or 4th layer is exposed, and don’t forget food.

Once sheep is over, if you are not english, farms are too expensive to dark age or feudal eco. Even to early castle. So, you have to gain map control to get deers, or boar. Abbasid and delhi are better in this case, because you get berries that are more exposed in dark age, and if external food sources are compromised you farm the sheeps.

It could be changed to your pleasing by a simple tweak: secondary TCs (non-landmark) would have increased time to produce a villager to 40s.
That would just slow down the exponential economy growth. BUT a LOT of rest of the game would be affected.

That 40s training time per villager would change way too much IMO; instead they could change the max HP of the 2nd+ TC down from 2400 to 2000 HP (2 less ram strikes from; 60s down to 50s); also at 2k HP without fire resistance it would be akin to a fortified tower (minus the fire resist).
