Will aoe4 run on the latest mac OS?

I see in the Steam specs that have been posted that the required operating system is Windows 10 64bit. Does anyone know if the game will run on a comparable mac OS? (I assume it wont?)

(Forgive me if this has been asked already – I couldn’t find anything since 2017.)

No not directly.

You can use Proton on Steam to run Windows Games on macOS but Steam doesn’t officially support macOS anymore so no guaranty it will work.

If you have a Mac with an M1 chip it might be impossible but I don’t know.
