Just wondering whether GPs like Rain will stack. I’ve endured 2 Fimbulwinters together in one of my games on Beta.
Rain blocks other god powers from being used.
Fimbluwinter should do the same so I think that was a bug what you saw happening.
I was fiddling around with cheats and I’m pretty sure the updated GPs do not block others. For example Ceasefire can stop Fimbulwinter’s wolves from attacking. Just wondering how multiple Rains might work.
I have the same doubts, saw a Cese fire used after eclipse to shut down the ancestors that were also used. Either its a bug or RIP some strats.
That is pretty stupid. Once god power just disabling another one.
That make casefire pretty OP.
One of the core functions of god powers like Eclipse was to stop other god powers from being casted.
This is hopefully a bug and not intentional.
I think it’s ok to be able to counter god powers like ancestors with Case Fire but it should definitely not be able to be casted when Eclipse is active.
Cease fire was always OP, it Hard counters some GPs like ancestros, flaming weapons, partially frost.
Its duration was reduced, lets hope thats not a trade off to being able to be used during GPs that used to block them.
I Wonder if one reason to stop GPs blocking others is so in team games you cant cycle between them with allies to keep your opponents from casting them.
Not sure, but in the other tiles GPs like flaming weapons stacked. If you’ve ever played Mythomeda Dark you know what I’m talking about.
Not all God powers blocked others. Its only a few that do (or used to): Eclipse, Rain and Fimbulwinter.
