Might be cool. And encourage people to think of themselves as ‘Age gamers’ and play more of the games in the series.

Yes, but the intention of a launcher (which is what I suppose is proposed) is to “unify” the games into one.
You receive news of all the games, you can see videos and others. Like the blizard battle app for example. It informs you of discounts and activities of the other games, regardless of whether you only play a single game or several.
It could boost interest a bit over other games.

i hate the launcher bloat games have gained over the years, its rare i actually find it helpful and if i do its usually for mods.

Well I only have one… Steam.
One is not too much. Two would be fine.
It’s only that the others are there already , if you only use 1 that’s great ! But surely I don’t want another thing needed
