Tbh AoE is also lacking on touchy subjects like say, slavery. It also completely ignores other impactful stuff like diseases, and it’s far from perfect about the cultural aspect of the middle ages too (RIP wonder and relics victories). There’s so much room for debate and controversies that miss the point of the game (ie.being a good RTS).
Really I think the most relevant thing that can be done for what the OP wishes is good campaigns, like the aforementioned Apranik one.
