Wood and Gold Generating Lumber Mills for Water Maps?

I think this would really spice up water plays since it’d be much easier to produce ships. Such a building would not be very good on non-water maps.

Not to be confused with a lumber camp. The building is gaia owned, indestructible and is able to be taken from you if a unit moves up to it just like a monument. They are quite rare, only one spawns close to each player’s town center. But on water migration maps, a few of them can spawn at the central island and other islands.

This Lumber Mill is a building that functions as a slow wood and gold generator. Same rate as a feitoria. So 42, wood and 42 gold a minute. While not often, there are games on water maps where a player literally runs out of trees on his island. This only about one warship a minute, but even then it can help actually produce ships when there are no trees left. And the wood could be used to make a fishing trap, or farm to help create other units when there’s no trees left.

You can already achieve that by using Monuments or Battle Royal Trade Workshops on your random map.
You can set the desired resource trickle rates.

My suggestion would be to add a neutral water market to the game that allows you to trade for Wood instead of Gold.

You can get gold by trading with allies, relics or selling food.

Map creators can then just add 1 or 2 of them to their random maps.
That gives players something to fight over and it also fits into already existing gameplay systems.
